Spring 2005
We are pleased to announce that Anheuser- Busch and Busch Entertainment Corporation employees may now make contributions to the non-profi t SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund through payroll deduction.

The Fund, a registered 501c(3) charitable foundation, was created two years ago to expand BEC’s already substantial support for wildlife conservation, research, education and animal rescue. By the end of this year, the Fund will have made grants totaling nearly $1.2 million. We encourage anyone interested in learning more to visit www.swbgconservationfund.org.

BEC pays the Fund’s administrative costs, and 100 percent of your tax-deductible donation goes to preserving wildlife around the world. If employees decide to contribute to the Fund through payroll deduction, they can visit “My A-B Web” to obtain a form or contact their Payroll or Human Resources Department. Non-employees may contribute directly online at the Fund’s Web site.

Thank you for considering this worthwhile endeavor and for helping us protect wildlife and wild places for generations to come.

Winter 2005
What a year. While the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks played host to 20 million guests and launched exciting new attractions and shows throughout 2003, an equally impressive story unfolded behind the scenes across the parks' zoological departments. From groundbreaking endangered species births, veterinary breakthroughs and dramatic wildlife rescues to one-of-a-kind animal interaction programs and the successful launch of the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, this past year was one of impressive achievements for BEC.

Our conservation commitment will continue in 2004. These efforts are every bit as much a part of the fabric of our company as the enriching and entertaining experiences we offer our park guests. On behalf of the entire Anheuser-Busch Adventure Park family, I thank all those who have been with us every step of the way - from employees and passport members to community friends, business colleagues and conservation partners. Here's to many more shared successes in 2004 and beyond.

SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund
In this issue, you'll find amazing animal news from across the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks. From first-time sea turtle hatchlings in San Diego to baby bongo twins at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, we celebrate many "firsts."

These zoological successes are the result of the contributions of many talented Anheuser-Busch Adventure Park employees - from animal keepers, curators and veterinarians to water quality, safety and engineering experts. And with the passion of our education and marketing staff members, we're able to share such successes with guests from all over the world.

Throughout this issue, you'll also discover how we're applying our zoological successes to conservation projects in the field. It's an exciting time for us, and we invite all of you along for the ride.

SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund
I am very pleased and excited to announce the creation of the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. For more than 40 years, the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks have initiated and supported wildlife conservation, research and education efforts at home and around the world. With the introduction of this new private foundation fund, these efforts will rise to unprecedented levels.

Check out the inside spread of this issue of WildLIFE for more details about this new global initiative. I encourage all of you to celebrate and share the creation of this fund, along with its mission and its objectives, with family and friends. The entire BEC family - from animal care experts and educators to front-line guest service staff and Passport Members - should be extremely proud of this new milestone in our company's commitment to conservation. Congratulations.
