• Since 1995 SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Adventure CampsSM have played host to nearly 300,000 campers, hailing from all 50 U.S. states and 22 countries. Campers live, work and play behind the scenes, gaining hands-on experience helping care for the parks’ diversity of animals.

• More than 300 of these campers have become employees at SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove, turning their early connections with animals into a career.

• Recent research (2004) by the Roper ASW organization showed that a remarkable nine in 10 Americans believe that a summer camp that features hands-on experiences with animals is likely to inspire a lifelong appreciation for wildlife and the environment. Wildlife conservation and environmental awareness are key themes woven throughout each SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Adventure Camp, and each camper leaves with a heightened awareness of the natural world around them and ways they can make a difference.
